Wat Phra Borommathat Doi Suthep in Chiang Mai province which on Doi Suthep is a large golden pagoda in the center of the temple containing a part of the holy relics of the Lord Buddha. It is a holy spot visited throughout the year by Buddhist pilgrims from all over the world. This temple was built by King Gue-Na in 1383 A.D.

Ko Samet or Samet Island in Rayong province on which Sunthorn Phu, Thailand's greatest poet based his most famous work, the story of Phra Aphaimani, located 30 minutes or 6.5 kilometers off the coast or Ban Phe. Samet Island offers beautiful beaches with charming white sand and strange-shaped rocks, suitable for relaxation. The climate is always pleasantly cool with abundant rains in August and windy monsoons in May. Accommodations at Ban Phe and on the Samet Island are available.

Hat Surin or Surin Beach is the one of famous and well-known beaches in Phuket which is located 24 kilometers from the city. However, the beach shelf is steep and the fairly heavy surf renders it unsuitable for swimming. There is a golf course above the beach line.

Promthep cape is located 2 kilometers from Rawai beach and it is also the southest cape in Phuket Island, Otherwise called by local people Laem Jao wherefrom best scenery of Phuket can be seen and above Promthep cape is a carpark where you can see this cape stretch to the sea including Koh Kaewpissadarn. This is so nice and romantic place for watching sunset.

Mu Ko Phi Phi. It comprises six islands: Ko Phi Phi Don, Ko Phi Phi Le, Ko Bida Nok, Ko Bida Nai, Ko Yung and Ko Phai lie at some distance off the coast-line. The superb scenery of the islands includes high hills with jutting cliffs surrounded by beaches of silvery sand and emerald green sea, hiding underneath a bank of coral reefs and colourful marine life which are unrivalled in this whole wide area.

Damnoen Saduak Floating Market. This is alternatively called by the villagers as Khlong Lat Phli Floating Market and is located approximately 400 meters from the site of Amphoe Damnoen Saduak Office. One can hire a boat from Potchawan Landing or from Seri Khemi Kaset Landing to view the floating market which takes place from 06.00 - 11.00 hours.

Phra Ratchaniwet Marukkhathayawan. This palace is located between Cha-am and Hau Hin, make left turn via a two kilometers access road. King Rama VI used it as a vacational accommodation during the summer time. The palace is noted for three two-storeyed wooden pavilions facing the sea, and is referred to as "the palace of love and hope". Now the palace is taken care of by the order Patrol Police Headquarters.

Hat Bangsaen is a well-known beach only 10 kilometers from Chonburi on a right-turn at km. 104. Highly popular with local tourists, a part of the beach front area is set aside for venders of local foods and snacks. Canvas chairs and inner tire tubes are available for rent, as well as shower room facilities. Eminently suitable for a one-day outing from Bangkok.

Namtok Phliu National Park ( Chantaburi ). The 42,000 acre park was established in 1975, with numerous species of wild plants and fruits in perfusion.Namtok Phliu ( Phliu Waterfall ) itself boast a stupa which was built by King Rama V in 1876, as well as a pyramid-type structure housing the remains of Queen Sunantha who 2 year earlier had visited Namtok Phliu. It is a famous tourist spot. There are mini-buses from the municipal market leaving for the waterfall daily.

This city landmark should he the first place on any visitor's itinerary. It is a huge compound on Na Phra Lan Road near Pramane Ground is surrounded by high white walls and occupies an area of about a square mile. The palace, begun in 1782, consists of several buildings with highly decorated architectural details, The Royal chapel, Wat Phra Kaeo, which is in the same compound, houses the Emerald Buddha, the most sacred Buddha image in Thailand. Photography inside the building housing the Emerald Buddha is forbidden.
